When was ORLY created?
Where did the French Manicure come from?
Our founder Jeff was approached by Hollywood studios to create a nail look that would suit most of the costumes on actresses. Changing the nail shade to match dresses was time consuming so Jeff created the iconic French Manicure - a cover pink base and white tip that emulates the natural nail. This look changed the nail industry forever, becoming one of the most popular and lasting nail looks to this day!
Why did Jeff choose the name 'ORLY'?
Jeff Pink named the company after his wife - Orly. He also thought it had a 'wonderful international sound' to it. Still made in L.A, ORLY products are beloved by celebs and nail techs alike and always vegan and cruelty free.
